Mirjam Urfer, Teacher for German and French
The Universe of Language has been established by Mirjam Urfer, a Swiss translator based in Edinburgh. Besides holding a degree in Translation from the prestigious Dolmetscherschule Zurich as well as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting from the Institute of Linguists (UK), Mirjam has an enormous passion for the languages she speaks and works with and is enthusiastic about passing on her great knowledge to other language enthusiasts and language learners. Mirjam also holds an M.Sc. in the Psychology of Language from the University of Edinburgh and knows how to best help her students acquire a second language.
Mirjam also has a passion for arts and crafts. She loves using crafts in her teaching activities and has recently launched Beads and Bobs, a craft party service for children.
